Chief Deputy Joseph Cardella Retires

St. Rose, LA, July 20, 2017 – Glen Smith and Gary Smith, Sr. of The Magnolia Companies of LA, LLC, were honored on July 20, 2017, by a visit from Chief Deputy Joseph Cardella of the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office. Chief Cardella retired on July 28, 2017 after 44 years of law enforcement.

Chief Cardella presented to The Magnolia Companies three Challenge Coins: the Bicentennial Challenge Coin, the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office Challenge Coin, and the National Sheriff’s Association Challenge Coin. Challenge Coins, historically, are exchanged amongst officers and gifted to supporters of the Sheriff’s Office.
